Remembering Howard Burgdorf

Howard Burgdorf was one of the founders of the Buffalo Art Guild, long term member, wonderful artist and a kind kind man, left this earth on December 30, 2024. We are including Howard’s obituary below:

Howard A. Burgdorf, 97 of Buffalo Minnesota. He often said, "You know, I want to go home to heaven. I don't like this waiting around." He finally went home December 30, 2024. Remembered as one of the most generous, kind, and creative persons ever. Everyone regarded him as not just a friend, but a good friend. Whether it was through his work at RKB, his artwork, missions trips, or his volunteering, he was always there for others. Sadly, dementia took that from him. It was time for God's "Well done." Survived by sons Eric (Kathy) Burgdorf; Andrew (Sherilyn) Burgdorf; grandchildren Esther (Jon) Yunkin; Rebekah (Paul) Ward; Hannah Burgdorf; Amanda (Ben) Burgdorf; Michael (Kiki) Burgdorf; Owen Burgdorf-Hibbs; great- grandchildren Joshua, Caleb, Matthew, and Daniel Yunkin. Memorial service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Buffalo, MN Saturday, January 11 at 1:00 pm immediately followed by open house visitation at the church to share Howard stories. Livestream will be at https://www.youtube.com/live/t1fyh9oH4sc
