April Notes
We have lots going on in our Guild World!
First up, take a look at the areas in the new PenRad building (above) where we will be able to showcase our Guild art. There are possibilities for murals, but it sounds like these areas will be rotating art pieces. Start getting your thinking caps on!
Next, please click this link to download information from Marie Panlener about our Portrait Party we will be doing at our next meeting. The meeting is at the Buffalo Municipal Airport, starting at 7PM. Doors open at 6:30. It will be held on April 21st.
Please click this link to download the participation form on the Maple Lake Library’s art show where they are asking for art. I have heard from some of our Guild, they are excited to participate!
One of our Guild attendees, Forest Darbi, created a design for the Buffalo Days Button and is currently anxiously awaiting the results as we speak. Please check out her design also attached. Very cool!

Wright County Historical Society
And lastly, I’m including a photo for our project involving the Wright County Historical Society. There are no hard, fast, rules here, just design some art with this photo in mind. I don’t have a deadline yet, but please start working on it and I will have an end date at one of our next meetings. In the meantime, our group project that will be due in May is about sunsets. These will be going up at our paying venues throughout the next year. Please bring your artwork to the May meeting, ready to hang.
A fast journal entry today! We have one lingering snowball in our yard from the 5 foot snowman my son made during last week’s snowfall. The sun is out today—so long snowball and Happy Spring to all of you!
Warm Regards,
Tamra
